Brrrr...more snow!

It was definitely too cold to be doing any digging on the plots!

But just over a week later it was a completely different story. The snow had disappeared and we were able to get back to work on tidying up the new plot and harvesting some leeks and cavalo nero - perfect for a warming winter soup. Next year we plan to grow borlotti beans... these would have been/bean (!!) perfect in the soup too. We also managed to collect some of the logs we had chopped in November from the holly tree on the new plot) and take these home for the fire.
